The Emotional Upheaval

Great Day Dear Ones,


Let's get some *Honest Zone* truths out on the table.


Okay...
*Honest Zone*...
I personally have wasted an immeasurable amount of time caught up in my "feelings"...resulting in a constant state of "Emotional Upheaval"...that I could have...should have...easily resolved long ago.


My brand of caring for...catering to...opening myself up...being "there"...has at times raped me of my SELF...my worth...my worthy...my tremendous value...my true nature at its best...


Why? because I got lost in the "feelings" and was void the "reality".


I was taught that my mind cannot feel...and my heart cannot think...yet I'd been using both incorrectly!!!


I used my heart to make sense of my mind's solid YES or NO.
I used my head to rationalize why the "feeling" was necessary rather than speaking to my heart from the intellectual realm of mind...reminding the heart that the "feeling" would pass.
Ensuing a chain reaction of the wrong thoughts and feelings at the wrong time...not benefitting myself or my fellowman.



Emotional is defined by Merriam-Webster as: likely to show or express emotion: easily upset, excited, etc.
Upheaval is defined by Miriam-Webster as: a major change or period of change that causes a lot of conflict, confusion, anger, etc.


When we decide to make positive lifestyle changes whether they are...mental...spiritual...physical...things tend to get sticky!!!


When we are caught dead center of head and heart...we often are not in a clear enough space to rationally receive the situation, review the situation, revamp the situation...in turn releasing us of the Emotional Upheaval.


We have got to learn through our boundaries, our SELF value, our life experience wisdom...what to jump for and what needs to jump without us.


We do not have to give into every emotion that we are confronted with. This is when a really stiff reality check from within can make the difference.


"Let's take a minute to process."
"Things will work out...I've just got to calmly receive ALL of the information before I decide what to do next."
"I will not allow my stress level to take my situation out of emotional context."
"I need to reset and apologize for taking my frustration out on the children...it wasn't their fault, and the problem wasn't as difficult as I made it."
"I'm taking a moment for deep breathing...I have a challenge to face today."


WE CHOOSE what affects us.
WE CHOOSE when we allow our Emotional Upheavals to reek havoc on our lives.
WE CHOOSE how to conduct emotional business...YES...YOU CHOOSE to be an emotional wreck or an emotional conqueror.


There are so many bliss filled opportunities to take in...
There are so many great things "The Universal Energy Force" provides us with daily.


We can sit in a stew of emotions that will come in like a flood and flee like a thief in the night...Or we can cognitively rationalize what our "feelings"/"emotions" are and give them ONLY the attention REQUIRED to carry on...


That does not mean suppress
That does not mean mask
That does not mean deny


Control over our Emotional Upheaval just means MIND over MATTER...
What we don't "Mind" with our intense emotions...won't "Matter" within the realm of reality or the rational thinking inside the REAL moments and how we live each second to the fullest.


Take the Emotional shackles off of your Intellect so that you can DANCE...
No matter the tempo...it's all a dance...your life is waiting for you to partner with your SELF and live the rhythm of your life's dance.

I LIKE Me

You know what I realized Dear Ones,

Throughout my long...yet short time in this realm of existence...I've come to clearly understand...
I never really knew Lyphe for who she really...REALLY...Is.

I mean...throughout my Lyphetime, I've taken such a hard hit from myself...trying to become the "Other Lyphe"...

Who is the "Other"?...She is the false advertisement of the TRUE Lyphe...

She is the EVERYTHING but who she was destined...born...to be...


Let's dig a little...


The "Other Lyphe"...saw her beauty as a decision factor...dictating who she'd see in the mirror based on the opinion, the suggestion, the hint, the "If I were You(ers)"...

So she relaxed and bound her long locs so others wouldn't feel "Less Than" because her hair was a crown of thick, dark, shimmering tresses.
She walked around everywhere sucking in her belly because she wasn't able to accept her full, bold, strong physique as beautiful in a world where "Thin is In"...causing an even deeper conflict as the world looked more like me anyway.
She held the compliment as the ruler of personal acceptance.
She has always done...This...instead of...THAT
She has always conducted her personal Lyphe business within the "What if They" bubble.
She has always kept blinders on the Real LYPHE that lived and breathed and had movement.

Lyphe had been overthrown by "Other"...and the sad thing is...she was aware of how detatched from her real SELF she actually was. 

Then after a very long time...everything shifted in a very short time.

In the midst of those silent moments of meditation and reflection...I saw my Lyphe standing in the threshold of my being and decided to break the walls down!!!

When  the REAL Lyphe took over...she forced me to SEE me...to LOOK at me...
What were the things in my Lyphe that I wanted to see...experience...keep...discard...alter...totally void the existence of...
To live and thrive according to MY standard for SELF and the only stakeholders at the "Table of Lyphe" were Me...Myself and I.
As a much more efficient and effective unit of singularity...I started changing all those things around.

The Real Lyphe...cut all the chemical poison out of my hair and grew HER beautiful hair...
natural, healthy, restored...WILD FRO when it air dries...LONG, flowing and straight with a little heat application!!...OUT LOUD...FIERCE...My Lyphe CROWN

The Real Lyphe...gained enough weight to be three individuals...lost enough weight to become irrecongnzable...so now I make the changes I want to my health program...what works for me and whether it be 50 over or 25 under...I'm HERE...

The Real Lyphe...gives her SELF all the effective compliments...no one can honor and cherish me like SELF.

The Real Lyphe...does a little "THIS"...and much much more "THAT"...dating and courting the things I enjoy...the things that give me joy and peace and inner satisfaction...when I want to write - I write...when I want to sing -  I sing...when I want to meditate - I do...

The Real Lyphe...doesn't even share what I'm doing with others anymore. Not sharing gives no room for me to alter my program based on the conversation...I take my own advise...I trust my decisions...and I move forward.

If we really wait for another individual to make our lives better...we'll ALWAYS be less that the REAL Us.

The Real Lyphe...RESTORED her SELF back to The Universal Power Sources' version of her "In the Beginning Lyphe"...and it is good...

I LIKE Me...the SHE that's always been...the SELF that is intertwined with and tapped into the Universal Power Source.

The Irreplaceable Lyphe Force is in full effect!!!!

LOVE Your SELF most...anything...everything else can wait!

The Manifest...

Belovedz,

One of the "Blessed Curses" of being a writer...is "Tha Block"!!!

I've taken a vow to myself and to you...that I will not submit what is not authentically REAL to me.

I will not bore you with any randomness...so when I'm on "Tha BLOCK"...I wait for intervention of the Divine.

So although it's been awhile...We're Back!!!

MANIFEST is defined by Merriam-Webster as: able to be seen: clearly shown or visible; easy to understand or recognize.

Have you ever been moving and shaking within your life's work and purpose and suddenly things begin to MANIFEST?

Whether it's during a time of greatness or during a temporary period of painful learning...

Things begin to show up based on what you've voiced to The Universal Power...things begin to take different forms and shapes and sizes and value...

The MANIFEST is a Splendid BEAST!!!

When the MANIFEST of your dream...your plan...your hard work...your passion begin to grow in such a way you cannot help but see it...feel it...

It can be so MUCH that it overwhelms us.

I have a Sister Friend...

She went on to complete her "higher" education and received (in a quite timely manner) a degree in her field of study...

But it wasn't what she really wanted to pursue.

She LOVED something else. More important than her love for "something else"...She had a VISION of how her love for this "something" could...would...MANIFEST if she put herself into her love for this "something"

Dear Ones...It Worked...

She stepped out into the unknown realm of life...believing...not knowing...what was going to BECOME...she spoke of it to The Universal Power...she researched it...then studied it...then became familiar with the portion of the art form she really wanted to take part in...then SHE DID IT...

SHE MANIFESTED EXACTLY WHAT SHE WANTED.

A BUSINESS Woman doing what she LOVES...not what she graduated with a degree to "do".

I'm sure someone is reading this like...Sista Lyphe...Whaaaaat?!?!?!...this "Manifest" is not real...

At this moment I'd then say...Oh YES It Is!!!!...

I was a poet from a deep yet silent place...no one really knew it but me...because I didn't believe in this AWESOME talent enough to share it...

But someone else BELIEVED in what my individual power was able to MANIFEST...

I wrote a little bit here and a little bit there...keeping it hidden in plain sight...

This "someone else' exposed me to myself FIRST...THEN challenged to walk with me as we exposed this AWESOME talent to the world.

The first step was to just write!!!...the next step was the challenge of submitting my work to a famous magazine as a poetry contest contestant...then the mailbox held a "CONGRATULATORY" letter from this famous magazine that my AWESOME talent WON!!!...the winning awarded my work a place in The International Library of Poetry...then exposure to publishing companies...then I began to write everywhere for everything...then the letters turned words formed HEAVY expression and became a body today known as "Lyphe in Words, Vol.1" by Lyphez Deity...

Although it took time...I MANIFESTed THAT!!!...I took hold of what I loved...I nurtured and cultivated it while I waited on The Universal Power Source to wave an answer back from itself that what I was putting out was GOOD and NEEDED and WORTHY of existence...as SO IT WAS...The single anthology turned into two (of which I'm currently within the gestational phases of waiting to give birth to)...turned into the Actual publishing of ...the Tangible...the "Mark of Lyphe" within the days of my Lyphe...my 'herSTORY" actualized.

We are POWER derived from POWER...all we need to is "TAP IN"...

When we "Tap In"..."Court our Talents"..."Take HOLD of our Dreams"...Speak Lyphe into our at one time thoughts...Act on them rather than sit on them...WE MANIFEST...

We create what is...with permission of The Universe to chase it...pursue it...DO IT...then share it...

It's all apart of our Lyphe Purpose...

So get up...get out...and MANIFEST whatever your heart and brilliant mind has to offer this often dry and desolate existence...

You have the POWER to Change the World...

Every subject matter we take up within this arena of LOVE and LIGHT...comes from the life lessons taught through a "Strain".


My Master Teacher once taught (paraphrased): "We must STRAIN to become what The Universal Power Source requires us to be"...RJAC, Jr.


Strain is defined by Merriam-Webster as: to injure (a body part or muscle) by too much tension, use, or effort; to be pulled or stretched in a forceful way.


Every cycle of progression we make toward our LOVE & LIGHT selves...requires us to undergo a pressure that most times STRAINS us to BEcome...


We are Strained to not be repetitive in our mistakes
We are Strained to acknowledge the true undoneness of ourselves so that we can grow
We are Strained to utilize the "PAUSE CLAUSE'...whenever we are preparing to judge, persecute, assassinate the character of our neighbor, carry gossips on the wind, look down our broken noses at someone else, commit crimes of the heart, mind, as well as hands...we should PAUSE and reevaluate our own imperfections and just PAUSE...
We are Strained to be better to others than people have been to us
We are Stained to not allow our pasts to hold us hostage making us victims rather than victors over our destiny
We are Strained to allow positivity to out shine pessimism
We are Strained to be proactive vs. reactive
We are Strained to love, honor, cherish, pamper, revive, heal ourselves instead of ripping ourselves to shreds

But fret not!!!


It's ALL for our good...as children...even then we experience growing pains...


We are pressurized to produce the BEST us possible.


When you doubt your very existence due to the weight life has put on your shoulders...it's your BECOMING in process.
When you are unsure of even what you know to be true...it's our BECOMING in process
When you can't stop crying about it...it's our BECOMING in process


Keep the Belief in your SELF and in The Universal Energy Source
Keep taking one single step at a time
Keep looking up and forward
Keep BREATHING
Keep standing
Keep pressing


Doubt is a temporary feeling...but to press through the feeling...is more than half the battle.

Within the core nucleus of our existence...there is a make up that could not be created by the hands of another human being...

You like The Universal Power are of a DEEP...inside of a DEEP...a mysterious truth that while we may not understand...we certainly recognize...our DEPTH


Walk in the power of your existence...your creation...your earthen perfection.


Honor the truth that although there is no other you anywhere...you are connected to ALL by The Universal Power Source...The Creator Source


Whether it be spiritual...scientific...agnostic...


KNOW that you come from the Great Depths of the DEEP...


Exercise the Love & Light that resides in you...it's a wonderful DEEP Depth.

STARVE into an Abundant Lyphe...

Great Day Belovedz,


Today's dialogue is a very, very intense and difficult progression for me personally.
The growing pain of this particular part of SELF is painful...


Today...I would like to identify the deaths that must occur within us in order for us to live an Abundant Lyphe.


Not abundance in "Things"...but an Abundance of our Best Self.


In order to obtain a degree of proficiency toward Abundance...we've got to starve the cycles of destruction within ourselves and our lives...


Merriam-Webster defines Starve as: to want or need something very much


Throughout the course of my existence...I've struggled with maintaining a will...a want...a drive to live.
I was in total agreement with whatever was ruling inside that said my loved ones and I were better off if I were in a grave.
PERIOD.


I was satisfied with it.
I had accepted it.
I'd conditioned myself to stay prepared for that last "moment".
When life wouldn't take me out...I tried to take me out...
But LYPHE...Kept winning...


The last time I suffered with this particular enemy...I stopped eating.
Although I did not stop eating "on purpose" my lack of wanting to exist manifested in a total loss of appetite..

Okay Guys...FOOD IS MY B#T$H...hands DOWN!!!
I LOVE FOOD...I Love the aroma...I Love the taste...I Love the textures...I Love to cook...I Love to feed people...
FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD...Don't touch my plate if YOU want to live...FOOD!!!!


So...lost in the pit of self...I was being told by those around me what was happening...but couldn't really see it for myself...


Every time I looked in the mirror I was a whopping 160-180 lbs...I wasn't loosing weight so rapidly that  I saw a problem...neither did I entertain the look of concern on my loved ones faces...


I was so engaged with the grave...I wasn't interested in what was still alive...ME...Lyphe...I was STILL Alive...but I was ready to die...


So when the scale finally reached an unhealthy 102lbs and I'd remembered the pleas of my children to eat....it was in those moments...I saw my Lyphe fading but wasn't yet gone from view...my loved ones had been screaming LIVE while silently my Lyphe LOVE Light Energy was dimming...and I was saying...no...die.


I was TIRED of hurting
I was TIRED of living in fear
I was TIRED of physical pain
I was TIRED of the stress and strain
I was TIRED of failing
I was TIRED.


But Lyphe was still flowing through my shrunken veins...


So I had to accept death wasn't my decision to make (obviously)...and I started turning my Lyphe Existence around so I could begin to received the Abundance of my Lyphe.


Well sister Lyphe...how did you even begin the process...


First...I opened up a real yet difficult dialogue between The Universal Power Source and Self.
I returned the power (I NEVER had) over my existence to The Creator Source.


Then...I started STARVING myself
STARVING myself of not waking everyday with gratitude
STARVING myself of the negative picture I was painting of my Beautiful Lyphe
STARVING myself of lies that I'm unworthy...undeserving...of the BEST Lyphe The Universe offered me.
STARVING my piss poor self image...in and out the mirror
STARVING myself of negative speech and ideologies
STARVING myself of miserable people who loved being in my miserable company
STARVING myself of  the defeatist and quitter attitude
STARVING myself  from ingesting my neighbor's thoughts,  feeling, words, actions of Just Wrong...
STARVING myself of atmospheric poisons
STARVING myself of hiding the pain instead of exercising it


And when I began flushing my Lyphez System...and started "eating" right...


I fed myself by giving Gratitude for the Grace and Mercy of my Creator Source
I fed myself the TRUTH of who and WHOs I AM
I fed myself patience with my human frailty
I fed myself worthiness
I fed myself meditation
I fed myself positivity
I fed myself LOVE
I fed myself the joys as well as the pains
I fed myself the UTMOST Respect for My SELF
I fed myself the right to dance...even in the rain
I fed myself hope
I fed myself LYPHE
I fed myself good speech
I fed myself clean and clear space


So that I could today... feed You (go figure).


I am Still Alive...to feed you LOVE
I am Still Alive...to feed you peace
I am Still Alive...to feed you support
I am Still Alive...to share my story in hopes you'll never have to eat from that platter of pain
I am Still Alive...to remind myself and you of just how Phenomenal, Wonderful, Majestic we Already Are...Flaws & All...no excuses nor exceptions.

At this very second...I'm Starving and Eating simultaneously...working on SELF inside out...every day I learn something new about myself...negative things must be starved...and positive things must be fed.


You are NEVER alone...EVER...
Someone understands...I Understand...


My very BEST Friend told me...
"There's NOTHING...you, me and The Creator Source cannot get through together"...
He planted an Agape LOVE seedling inside of me...so that I could grow into an Abundant LOVE & Light Lyphe FORCE...


Hoping you're able to eat the "fruits" of my LOVE and Light through darkness...in time you'll do the same for your neighbor...


The WORLD is waiting on us to STARVE ourselves into an Abundant LOVE & Light Lyphe FORCE.

VENT for Proper Ventilation

to allow fresh air to enter and move through (a room, building, etc.)
to express or discuss (something) openly or publicly


Vent is defined by Merriam-Webster as:
to express (an emotion) usually in a loud or angry manner




Okay Belovedz...


IF you clog...stifle...cut off your airways...you will loose consciousness due to lack of oxygen.
Indefinitely.


IF we allow a build up of emotion...
IF we cover the passageways of communication...
IF we seal up the access points to honesty...
IF we suffocate our SELF with silence...(not just the non verbal kind...but the disadvantage of speaking too many words while the real ones are never uttered...)
IF we choke out the satisfaction of  Self Empowerment...


We will shrivel up and potentially die.


WE GOT TO VENT...Dear Ones...


YELL It...
SCREAM It...
CRY It...
LAUGH It...
PRAY It...
SING It...
DANCE It...
SHOUT It...
EXERCISE It...


However we get "It" out...however we get "IT" off of our mental/emotional platter...into The Universe for guidance or attention or freedom...


Whatever 'IT" is...However "IT" is...VENT for the Ventilation...


VENT so you can inhale positivity...VENT so you can move freely...
VENT so you can have room to assist others with their
"HEIR Conditioning"...(it's written correctly...)...YES...
our Universal Heir Conditioning...the process of living  through our storms into a better wisdom...a better patience...
a better giver/receiver of the Universal Gifts.


Heir Conditioning requires us to purge ourselves of past mistakes, poor judgment calls...undeserved pain...unnecessary weight...what was our fault...what was another's fault...to make room for our GREATNESS...


VENT...so you can breathe the clear and clean HEIR Conditioning that The Universe has for us...


VENT...so you are allowed to work the LOVE & Light Energy work assigned to your hands...no one can or will ever fulfill your purpose but YOU...


We hold on to and hoard the wrong things and it causes...build up...back up...blockage...barriers...suffocation...of our Universal Gifts...our Blessings...our Joys...our Happiness...our Peace.
